Abacus Elements FIX-KST Adhesive EMAS-05-0003
Fix-KST Board Fixing Adhesive provides an ideal solution for fixing Elements floor boards and shower bases.
Surface Preparation: The surface must be clean, firm, dry, free of dust, dirt, oil and grease. When adhering to timber flooring, ensure the substrate is firm, stable and treated with a suitable primer. All substrates should be rigid enough to withstand loads without deflection.
Mixing & Application: FIX-KST should be added slowly to clean water (3.5kg to approx. 0.7 litre) and can either be applied by the dot-and-dab method covering approximately 40% of the board up to a bed thickness of 35mm, or by the screeding method using an 4mm comb trowel. Do not mix in temperatures less than 5�C.
Set Time: Approx. 3 to 4 hours (depending on temperature and substrate).
Consumption: Approx. 3 to 6kg/m� depending on application thickness.
